Do you ever crave that amazing flavor that authentic Thai restaurants drown their menu items in? I do. Like all the time.
However, what I don’t crave is the feeling I get after I’m finished eating. You know, the feeling like your stomach is about to burst open and you’ll have to scrub the inside of your mouth all night just to get rid of that pungent garlic smell and taste.
Yeah, no thanks.
Try this instead. It’s refreshing, flavorful, and oh so perfect.
Makes about 1 cup
3 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
3 tbsp. liquid aminos Braggs
3 tbsp. + 2 tsp. pure honey
4 tsp. Sambal Oelek chili paste
2 tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
1-2 tbsp. fresh squeezed orange juice
2 tsp. garlic
1. Whisk all the ingredients with a fork in a small bowl until combined. Make sure the honey doesn’t form lumps.
2. Serve immediately or refrigerate, doesn’t matter!
