Birthday AND post-birthday eats, that is :)
Breakfast (plus some un-pictured coffee, of course)
2 slices Hearty Grains bread from my favorite bakery in SLO (Breaking Bread Bakery) + peanut butter + sliced banana
Celebration round 1
DONUTZZZ. Donuts. Donuts. SLO Do Co's gluten-free/vegan chocolate donut will forever have my donut-loving heart. You can say "it isn't an actual donut" because it isn't fried, but I don't care. I love it and I will continue to love whatever anyone wants to call it!
Lunch wasn't really a thing because two or three donuts + two or three mimosas was way more of a thing... I DID however manage to throw together a salad containing:
- spinach + carrots + black beans + avocado + salsa
All it had to do was give me a little sumthin' sumthin' so that my body could handle happy hour!
Happy Hour + Dinner
"Can I see your ID, birthday girl?" - Josh, our hipster-cute waiter asked, with the politeness of that all-too-charming boy you just can't resist.
"YUPP" - I replied, with the bold (slighty drunk-b**chy, maybe?) confidence of a young 21-year-old woman.
Dinner, for me, was a plate of salad, falafel (favorite fried food), pita bread, hummus, & tahini sauce from a local family-owned Mediterranean place. Oh, and more champagne... duh.
Also, a quick and very big THANK YOUUUU to all of you who wished me a happy birthday - I'm in awe and so so thankful at the blessing this place has become and the community of which God has made me a part :)
