Giant tacos, my friends. Giant tacos. If there is any opener to hook my audience at the beginning of a post, it should certainly be "giant tacos".
Today was chill, which is a word I'm growing to dislike. I feel like the stereotypical millenial that I don't want to be. But, today was, nonetheless, chill. With little sleep the night before, I needed that - I needed no plans, I needed to stay home and refuel my body, and that I did!
Fage 0% yogurt + Brown Butter Bakery granola + white nectarine w/ a drizzle of local avocado honey (!!!) and cinnamon
Banza chickpea pasta + mixed greens w/ Hope Foods Black Garlic hummus + cherry tomatoes + sauteed white sweet potato w/ shredded white cheddar
Iced coffee from Planted Eatery in Arroyo Grande + house-made almond milk + an RX bar
GIANT TACOS. Giant chicken tacos (one plate for me, a plate of fish tacos for a friend) from the Avila Beach Farmers' Market + a glass of Sauv Blanc to finish it off (again, forgot the picture because I was enjoying myself at the bar!)
That is all! I didn't workout today for a few reasons: 1) I was out late the night before, 2) I walked 3 miles and rode my bike throughout the day, and 3) I unpacked (heavy items). Wait - why am I justifying not working out? I didn't workout because life happened and sometimes there is no time for intense exercise because there is more time for... like I said, life.
